Database 2000 (US Agency for International Development) - This database

governance and institutions. Under each topic you will find a searchable
database, data tables, country profiles, maps, and features.

IUCN Red List of Threatened
Species (International Union for the Conservation of Nature) - The
Red List catalogs and highlights animal and plant species that are facing
a high risk of global extinction. The information provided by the database
includes the species' taxonomy details, scientific name, common names,
assessment date, country/region of occurrence, population trends, and data
sources.

(World Bank) - A database of gender statistics for countries covering
basic demographics, population dynamics, labor force structure, education,
health, and maternal mortality.

Security Programs Throughout the World (United States Social Security Administration)
- A summary of the country's social security system's major features, grouped
under programs dealing with old age, disability, death, sickness, maternity,

World Population Data Sheet - PRB’s annual data sheet provides the
latest population estimates, projections, and other key indicators for
all geographic entities with populations of 150,000 or more and all members
of the United Nations. Indicators include births, deaths, infant mortality
rate, life expectancy, population, along with others. The data sheet is
accessible by the various variables or by region and country.
